Denfeld Juniors and Seniors, you have the opportunity to attend one of two upcoming College Fairs.

The National College Fair is September 27th in Minneapolis. The bus will leave Denfeld at 7:00 am and return in time to catch your bus home at the end of the school day. The cost is $25.00, or $10.00 for free and reduced lunch students.

The State of Minnesota declares the month of October College Knowledge Month.  The purpose of it is to show students the many opportunities that they have for higher education and skills that are needed for today's job market.

Another aspect of College Knowledge Month is to get seniors to apply for both college and financial aid.  Many of the colleges waive their application fees for one week during the month.

Our department has teamed up with Talent Search again this year to sponsor several events.  The first of these will take place during WIN on October 2nd.  We will begin by announcing what this month is all about and then our own Denfeld Band will be marching through the halls playing college marching music.  It will be guaranteed to wake everyone up!

The Local College Fair will be held at UWS on October 11th from 9:00 am - 11:00 am. Cost is $5.00, or $2.00 for free and reduced lunch students. Students can learn more and pick up permission slips in the Career Center, Room 1212 or Guidance Office.
