Activities for the Day (read from the bulletin)  

Monday – Please do the pledge

Seniors – Show off your artistic side.  Submit a design for your All Night Grad Party T-shirt.  You can use any medium – pencil, markers, crayon, computer, etc.  Limit your design to 2 colors.  It must be on a 8 ½ x 11 piece of paper or cardstock.  Include the words “Denfeld”, “Alumni” and “2017” in your design.  The senior class will get a chance to vote for their favorite design. Designs must be turned in to the office by Wednesday, May 3rd.

Exec. Bd. Applications for next year are due in Mr. Fisher’s room or his mailbox on April 24th by 3:30 PM.

Attention all students interested in mountain biking. There will be two short informational meetings on Tuesday, April 25th and Wednesday, April 26th at 3:30 in the commons for all students interested in participating on the Duluth Mountain Biking Team. If you have any questions, stop by the activities office.

Accuplacer testing originally scheduled for April 20th has been moved to April 25th.  Tenth grade students who are signed up for CITS classes next year are expected to take the Accuplacer in order to qualify for college credit in that course.  Students will receive notification later in the week telling them the time they are scheduled to test.

The blood drive is coming up on Friday, May 12th.  If you are 16 years or older you may be eligible to be a donor.  Pick up a form from the Key Club Bulletin Board or from a member, fill it out, and drop it in the box in the Commons, Your blood may save many lives!

Arrowhead Youth Soccer Association Scholarship will award two $1000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors that have participated in AYSA or a similar soccer program during their youth. Applications are available in the Guidance Office or Career Center. The deadline is May 27th.

Prom tickets will be on sale the week of May 1-5 from 8:45-9 in the morning and after school.  Please don’t wait until Friday after school to buy your tickets.  You could be waiting a long time in line if you do.  Tickets are $80 for a couple and $40 for a single. Grand March and Prom will be held on May 13th at Clyde Iron Works.  Grand March is at 6:30 with dinner and dance to follow.  Prom ends at 11:00 pm.   If you have questions, see Ms. Ballavance.  

Horatio Alger National Career & Technical Scholarship Program is offering up to $2500 to students that are pursuing career or technical education. To be eligible you need to demonstrate financial need, must be Pell Grant eligible. You can apply for this scholarship online
