Coming Dec 6th, and 7th at 7:00 p.m. and Dec 8 at 2:00 p.m., the holiday musical Yes, Virginia will be performed on our renowned Denfeld stage. Based on the true story of a little girl who questioned the existence of Santa Claus, this musical will warm your heart and put you in the holiday spirit! Come enjoy our Denfeld thespians in a fabulous production.of Yes, Virginia.
The Denfeld German Club is sponsoring a fundraiser at Five Guys on Dec 10 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Please come and support the students – 10% of the proceeds will go toward their trip to Germany.

Congratulations to the Denfeld Hunter Marching Band, cheerleaders and dance team
for their spectacular appearance in this year's Christmas City of the North
Parade. Over 100 students, or about 10% of the school, marched together through
downtown Duluth in the frigid temperatures to help kick off this year's holiday
Congragulations to Tyler Persch. Tyler won a gold medal in the
Minnesota Special Olympics in Bowling that was held in Richfield. Tyler rolled a
162, 127 for a total of 289. This is the third year in a row that Tyler has won
a gold medal in this event.
Taryn Pederson, 9th grade, was
chosen by audition to be a member of the 2014 American Choral Directors
Association 9th and 10th grade honor choir. Approximately 125 girls were chosen
from the entire state's 9th and 10th graders for this honor. She will sing with
this choir in Minneapolis in February.
The 2013 Fall Food Drive was an overwhelming success with 1,916 pounds of food donated to CHUM West Duluth. This tops last year's record 1,600 pounds. Thanks to the Exec. Board for organizing this successful food drive!
