   Students, staff, parents/guardians and community members are sharing their understanding of Denfeld's strengths and challenges and developing a vision for what Denfeld could become as a Full Service Community School.


Denfeld Students Earn Top Spots in Regional Math Contest

Displaying  

Students from Denfeld High School took the top three spots in this year's Trig-Star contest at Lake Superior College. Denfeld was also the highest scoring school:
Benjamin Emmel, First Place - $200, $50, School Winner & Plaque
Kelly Killorin, Second Place - $150.00
Connor Feyen, Third Place - $100.00

Trig-Star is a timed competition which involves solving trigonometry problems that incorporate the use of right triangle formulas and the laws of sines and cosines plus a real world problem a land surveyor might encounter. Contestants have up to one hour to complete the exam, the person achieving the highest score in the shortest amount of time wins. The competition is sponsored by the Minnesota Society of Professional Land Surveyors. 

Denfeld, Duluth East Speech Students Earn Spot at State  
   Several students from the Duluth Speech Team earned a spot at the 2017 MSHSL State competition, congratulations to all participants and to

All Night Grad Party
 Attention All Denfeld Families.  We need your help.  In celebration of the Class of 2017, the Denfeld All Night Grad Party Committee will be hosting a Chemical Free Graduation Party at the UMD Sports Facilities on Thursday, June 8th.

Prom Night
Prom tickets will be on sale May 1-5, 8:45 - 9:00 a.m. and after school. The cost is $80 per couple or $40 for a single ticket. This year's prom is on May 13 at Clyde Iron.
